Eligibility information for applicants 2023/2024
The Conservatorio Superior de Música "Andrés de Vandelvira" (Jaén) welcomes incoming students. This page contains information on the eligibility to study in our conservatoire under the Erasmus+ regime.
Application deadlines for academic year 2023/2024
Application deadlines for international Erasmus students who want to take part in a Student Mobility for Studies (SMS) or a Student Mobility for Placement (SMP) during the academic year at Conservatorio Superior de Música "Andrés de Vandelvira" are as follows:
Mobility for Autumn Semester 2024 (September to February): 1st of June 2024
Mobility for Summer Semester 2024 (February to June): 1st of December 2023
Mobility for full course 2024/2025 (September to June): 1st of June 2024
Application requirements
The application should comprises the following documentation:
- Application Form.
- Europass Curriculum Vitae.
- Nomination from the sending institution.
- Proposal for a Learning Agreement.
- Reference letter from your tutor.
- Recording up to 20 minutes of three pieces of contrasting styles (the audition-CDOR mp3-files will be sent via WeTranfer or similar, such as links to YouTube-Videos).
All applications have to be sent through email erasmus@csmjaen.es
Incoming students’ admission will depend on the availability of vacant places and the audition recording.
Documentation will not be accepted by ordinary post but email.
Academic year format
The school calendar for the academic year 2023/2024 is divided in two semesters:
Semester 1: beginning of the academic year on the 20th of September 2023 until 2nd of February 2024.
Semester 2: beginning on the 5th February of 2024 until the end of the academic year on the 21st of June 2024.
Language
All group lessons and masterclasses are held in Spanish. Although most of our teachers speak English or other languages, you must have at least an appropriate knowledge of Spanish language. The recommended language level is B2 for Spanish and English.
Insurance
Our institution highly recommends to travel to Spain at least with the European Health Insurance Card or a personal private health insurance.
Housing
The Erasmus+ office of our institution will guide participants in finding accommodation, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. For previous information, please do get in contact with us at: erasmus@csmjaen.es
