A través de este trabajo se pretende realizar una investigación histórica del papel que ha llevado a cabo la trompeta en la música latina. Se hablará de las raíces históricas de la música latina, se seleccionarán una serie de estilos dentro de la multitud que podemos encontrar, indicando cuales son propios de cada zona, las características de cada uno de ellos y los trompetistas más representativos dentro de cada estilo seleccionado, hasta llegar a EEUU. Una vez llegado a este punto, nos centraremos en el papel de la música latina y la trompeta en este país y como ha sido el proceso hasta llegar aquí.
Al término de la investigación del marco teórico, se escogerán diversos temas latinos de cada uno de los estilos seleccionados y se realizará una propuesta interpretativa sobre los mismos. Se mostrarán los rasgos más significativos de cada uno de los temas, las peculiaridades y características importantes de cada uno de ellos, el papel que desempeña la trompeta en estos y como trabajar y solventar los problemas planteados con diversos ejercicios. El principal objetivo es interpretar de la manera más próxima al tema y al estilo original de cada uno de los temas seleccionados.
Through this work, it is intended to carry out a historical investigation of the role that the trumpet has played in Latin music. We will talk about the historical roots of Latin music, a series of styles will be selected from the crowd that we can find, indicating which are typical of each area, the characteristics of each one and the most representative trumpeters within each selected style , until reaching the USA. Once at this point, we will focus on the role of Latin music and the trumpet in this country and how the process has been until we got here.
At the end of the research of the theoretical framework, various Latin themes will be chosen from each of the selected styles and an interpretative proposal will be made about them. The most significant features of each of the themes, the peculiarities and important characteristics of each of them, the role that the trumpet plays in these and how to work and solve the problems posed with various exercises will be shown. The main objective is to interpret in the closest way to the theme and the original style of each of the selected themes.
